About CueRefine
Content maintained by CueRefinePublished Updated
CueRefine makes small browser tools for creators working with existing subtitle files.
A focused subtitle workspace
The free workspace converts SRT and WebVTT, shifts every cue by a fixed offset, lets you edit subtitle text, and exports TXT transcripts. No account is required for these tools. A local draft carries your saved work between tools.
Clear boundaries
CueRefine does not transcribe audio, translate subtitles, edit video, or automatically align speech. It accepts UTF-8 SRT and WebVTT, plus ASS/SSA text-and-timing imports, up to 2 MiB and 10,000 cues. The review lab is a local simulation; the separate invite-only model review is not a public feature or evidence of general proofreading accuracy.
Built for more languages
The interface is currently available in English. Subtitle text can contain any supported Unicode language. More interface languages can be added after translation and review.
How these guides are maintained
CueRefine maintains the product descriptions and guides under the CueRefine brand. Format references link to primary specifications or browser documentation. Synthetic examples are checked against the subtitle engine; model simulations are not evidence of real proofreading quality. Publication and update dates describe the content, not a claim of independent expert review.
