Your files. Your workspace.

The free tools process files in your browser. A local draft helps you pick up where you left off; it is not a cloud backup.

Restore a local draft or clear it when you’re done. No account needed.

Clearing the draft does not delete your original file.

GOOD TO KNOW

A few details, before you start.

Do my files get uploaded?

The free conversion, timing and text tools process files on your device. Drafts stay in this browser until cleared. The separate invite-only model review requires an explicit upload.

Which formats can I use?

Open UTF-8 SRT, WebVTT, ASS or SSA, up to 2 MiB and 10,000 cues. ASS/SSA imports readable text and timing, without styled rendering. Export SRT, VTT or TXT; native ASS/SSA export is not available. Review conversion losses before downloading.

Can I use it without an account?

Yes. The core subtitle tools are free and require no sign-up.

What is CueRefine?

CueRefine is a free browser-based subtitle editor and converter for existing SRT and WebVTT files. Convert formats, shift every cue by a fixed offset, edit text or export a TXT transcript without an account or uploading the file. It does not transcribe audio or translate subtitles.

Input: UTF-8 SRT or WebVTT, up to 2 MiB and 10,000 cues. Keep your original file: browser drafts are local working copies, not cloud backups.

“Each cue has a start time, end time, and textual payload.”

MDN Web Docs, WebVTT API

A subtitle cue pairs words with a timed interval. CueRefine keeps cue timing when converting SRT and VTT; a TXT export retains the words without that timing structure.
